Hello from Knoxville! We left home on Sunday afternoon and drove to Springfield, MO to pick up Joan. Made it to Paducah by midnight. If you are in Paducah and need a hotel, we would recommend the Baymont. It was very nice!

Drove to Springfield, KY and stopped at a fabric warehouse. Picked up some black & whites and red & whites to finish 0ur block of the month. Also found some pre-quilted fabrics. It was a good thing too, as we ran out of three pocket purse kits on the first day of the show. We spent last night, cutting and folding so we'll have some to sell today.

Last night we ate supper at Calhoun's, voted best BBQ in Knoxville. We had our table by the window overlooking the river. Everyone must have decided to eat there last night, as we had to wait an hour for seating. Prime rib, ribs and pulled pork were enjoyed by all.

At the Paducah show I believe your shop had a quilt hanging on the back wall that was beige, browns and maybe blacks. It was very neutral and I loved it and there was a kit which I didn't buy. Do I have the right shop? I couldn't find it on your website.

Yes, Karon, that was our booth. It is called Splitting Image by Vicky Lawrence, Prairie's Edge Patchworks. It should be on our website under Prairie's Edge Patchworks patterns. Retail is $8.00 and the kits are $124.95. We just made some on Saturday, so if we don't sell out in Des Moines, we can ship them to you. Thanks for asking!
